What’s currently having the greatest impact on your business?
Moving to managed service contracts where customers who are frustrated, and want to get the best out of IT and print platforms, are outsourcing.
Where do you see the next big opportunity?
Moving beyond print to data management and storage. We are using our own company as a test bed, and it’s working well.
What would make your day job easier?
I already have what makes my day job easier, my PA Emma. I couldn’t survive without her, she keeps me fed and watered as well!
Structure is important: I’m free spirited, and structure allows you to be free. It allows more creativity and better conversations.
What’s the best bit of business advice you’ve been given?
To be a rogue monkey! And to make sure there are rogue monkeys in the company, to challenge the status quo. The impossible is always possible.
If you had had a crystal ball, would you have done anything differently?
No. The greatest lessons come from learning. If you’re not making mistakes you won’t progress. I’m privileged professionally to have been on this great journey.
Describe your most embarrassing moment
I have many because I’m clumsy! When we won Sky as a customer, I was so excited at the first implementation meeting that I walked into the middle of a patch of wet concrete, and the whole building could see me…
What was your first job?
I was a waitress in Toronto while working as a model.
What would be your dream job?
In my next life I’d like to be a Victoria’s Secret model, beach volleyball champion and a DJ.

How do you like to spend your spare time?
On the beach.
Favourite holiday destination?
Money’s not an issue, what’s your perfect car… and where would you like to drive it?
Tesla is my perfect car and I’d drive it down Route 66.
