Managed service provider Ensono has achieved Amazon Web Services (AWS) Mainframe Modernization Competency status, one of just a few providers globally to hold this status.
This designation recognises that Ensono has demonstrated technical proficiency and proven customer success automating and accelerating customer mainframe application migration and modernisation journeys. Ensono is an AWS Advanced Tier Services Partner in the AWS Partner Network (APN) and previously achieved an AWS Migration Consulting Competency.
With its December 2021 acquisition of ExperSolve, Ensono obtained ExperThink, a proprietary AI software toolchain that converts Common Business Oriented Language (COBOL) and over 25 other legacy programming languages to modern languages such as Java and C#. Combined with Universal Data Converter, a toolset that transforms flat file, non-relational and legacy relational data to modern relational databases, the software complements Ensono’s existing mainframe capabilities and allows applications to be modernised and migrated on AWS.
