Brigantia, the award-winning cybersecurity distributor, has partnered with Ireland-based Octiga to help businesses patch critical gaps in their Office 365 security in just a few simple clicks.
Brigantia is Octiga’s first distributor in the UK and provides a comprehensive range of cybersecurity solutions, secure enterprise-class data communications, and cloud services, backed by a team of product experts.
Who are Octiga?
Octiga was founded in 2019 by SaaS automation maestro Dr Robert McFeely, and cybersecurity expert Sash Vasilevski. It is designed to automate Office 365 security and continuously monitor for both legacy and new breaches, internal risks and threats, and misconfigurations of security controls.
The goal was to automate Office 365 security. Robert and Sash recognised that Office 365 is now essential for the daily operations of hundreds of businesses and couldn’t risk the gaps that many traditional security services leave.
Today, Octiga stands as an affordable and quick Office 365 multi-client security solution, improving the service offering, reducing the cost of a breach, and saving time and resources for MSPs.
On the vision for the business, McFeely said: “Octiga’s vision is to deliver much-needed relief to super busy MSPs around the globe.”
How the partnership came to be
Brigantia have seen years of successful and sustained growth following their management buyout from Claranet in 2016. Led by Angus Shaw and headquartered in Thirsk, North Yorkshire, Brigantia has continually worked to achieve their goal of creating a true value-added cybersecurity distributor that serves channel partners across the UK.
Today, Brigantia collaborates with multiple best-in-class cybersecurity vendors and thousands of channel partners to help them grow and to secure their customers’ businesses. Octiga’s partnership represents the next step on this journey.
Angus Shaw, Brigantia Sales Director, said: “Octiga is an exciting and cost-effective service that automates Office 365 security and makes MSPs’ tedious multi-client security effortless. Brigantia takes great pride in identifying next-generation vendors and helping them break into the UK MSP channel market. Octiga is a terrific addition to our carefully selected and layered cybersecurity vendor portfolio, and we look forward to introducing it to our channel community.”
Dr Robert McFeely added: “We must partner with distributors who can truly understand and want to fix the MSP pain points. We are excited to have Octiga added to Brigantia’s select portfolio and look forward to incorporating their expertise with our service offering while expanding the UK market.”
