Canon Europe announces some key enhancements across its imageRUNNER ADVANCE, imageRUNNER, i-SENSYS X and imagePRESS portfolios, specifically designed to help businesses of all sizes navigate the hybrid working world. As organisations look to fine-tune newly implemented hybrid strategies, workspaces are changing. Large offices with multiple departments are no longer the norm, with many firms downsizing estates and consolidating processes to factor in a variety of different work environments. Bolstering Canon’s digital transformation ecosystem are:
- The new imageRUNNER ADVANCE DX 4800 Series and imageRUNNER 2700 Series offer users all the connectivity, productivity, sustainability, security and easy serviceability benefits of Canon’s existing A3 multifunction portfolio, but as smaller devices with a greater range of output. The models offer increased functionality through wider media support, increased stapling capacity and reduced footprint for easy transportation and storage. Additionally, the latest range allows for an all-important level of device continuity with straightforward installation and maintenance, ensuring a seamless experience in every type of workplace.
- The latest addition to Canon’s colour A4 portfolio, the i-SENSYS X C1333 Series, delivers improved productivity, user experience and strengthened security, all on more compact devices. Thanks to a new design and engine, users are empowered with faster printing and scanning capabilities on smaller, lighter devices. Wider and higher quality media output, such as A5 duplex print and A6 support, make the devices a reliable and flexible component to any mixed fleet.
- The new imagePRESS C270 Series offers higher speed scanning and a consistent user experience in line with the rest of the Canon workspace portfolio. The devices combine functionality and connectivity with creative professional output, allowing businesses to advance their in-house printing capabilities with brochures, direct mail, catalogues and more.
- With Canon’s advanced print and scan management software, uniFLOW online, users can harness the power of cloud connectivity to tie their fleet together across multiple workspaces. The integrated software solution bolsters workspace collaboration by supporting multi-vendor, mixed fleet environments, so businesses can ensure seamless document management and security across Canon’s new introductions as well as pre-existing devices in their infrastructure.
Joe Courts, Head of Product Marketing, Digital Printing & Solutions at Canon UK & Ireland comments: “As the last few years have shown, hybrid working means different things to different people. Whether employees prefer working in centralised offices, shared collaboration hubs or at home, flexibility has become the watchword for many new working strategies. As such, organisations large and small have shown an increasing need for solutions which are able to support employees whenever, wherever, and however they may be working.
“The ability to access and share documents in all workplace locations is a necessity in today’s working world and the digitisation and cloud connection capability of our portfolio continues to empower users to stay engaged, productive and secure. However, hybrid working is a constantly shifting concept and these new launches mark the latest iteration in our commitment to meet the evolving needs of our customers.”
