Canon has expanded its established line of remanufactured devices with the addition of the imageRUNNER ADVANCE EQ80 4200 Series and 6275i. Boasting the robust productivity and security standards of the 2nd generation of imageRUNNER ADVANCE technology, Canon says these introductions deliver competitive new growth opportunities for partners, offering the ability to help customers meet their sustainability goals, whilst also benefitting from the consistent quality, reliability and seamless integration of a brand new Canon device.
Developed over two decades of research and refinement, the EQ80 range enables businesses to actively contribute to a circular economy. Unlike refurbished products that only offer second-hand warranties and vary in quality depending on the condition of the original machine, these remanufactured units are created through fully disassembling the best-selling models collected from the market and rebuilding them using up to 80% reused parts, after thorough testing and cleaning. As a result, the new devices use up to 80% lower carbon emissions across the raw material sourcing, manufacturing and logistics stages of the product lifecycle, in comparison to newly manufactured products.
