– Beacon Print has recently installed a Canon Colorado 1630. Through the acquisition, the organisation hopes to deliver higher quality output to its customers, whilst increasing productivity, new business opportunities and growth into new markets.
Founded in 2014, Beacon Print is headquartered in West Bromwich and primarily operates in the education, healthcare, large corporate and SME sectors. The organisation provides a one-stop shop for all printing requirements – specialising in small and large format digital print, exhibition graphics, signage and installation, litho print and bespoke label printing.
Beacon Print approached Canon at the beginning of 2022 as it wished to purchase a Colorado 1630 device – a fully modular roll-to-roll press for large format graphics. The device appealed to the business as it delivers unsurpassed automation, excellent print quality, high productivity, and extensive versatility with low TCO emissions.
Since the installation of the Colorado 1630, Beacon Print has been able to achieve faster, higher quality prints for its customers. Its versatile applications have also allowed the company to access the digital wallpaper printing market, opening the door to new business opportunities and growth. Thanks to its reduced ink and energy requirements, the Colorado 1630 has also delivered significant savings for Beacon Print – with its fast output speed allowing the organisation to increase uptime in production and deliver jobs at speed.
