Sharp has announced the new Centre for Digital Technologies in partnership with South Essex College, Basildon. This significant design and install project is a one-of-a-kind facility for the UK, providing students and staff with access to a highly integrated suite of the latest digital printing and audio visual presentation learning technologies.
The partnership is planned to expand in the future as the college develops its on-premise Technology Suite. This will provide students with access to products and new technologies being launched in the UK market by Sharp. The company will also be able to access the suite to demonstrate these products to customers and prospective customers onsite.
Students will also be supported by Sharp as they begin their careers with apprenticeships, mentoring, work experience and a series of four guest speaker talks at the college where the company’s experts will share their experience of working in the global technology sector.
