Apogee employees have raised £3,825 for Action for Children UK, as part of its annual Christmas charity advent calendar event.
The funds raised will enable the charity to continue providing practical and emotional care to children and young people across the UK, in a bid to bring lasting improvement to their lives.
The support provided by Action for Children is particularly crucial this winter, with the cost of living crisis threatening the health of those in low-income households.
“Apogee is constantly on the lookout for opportunities to give back,” said Director of Marketing Dom Gryszan. “And considering the circumstances this year, we knew we wanted to help some of our most vulnerable people get the support they need.”
As part of the advent calendar event, employees purchased raffle tickets to be in with the chance to win from a range of 30 amazing prizes, donated by Apogee’s generous partners and suppliers. 260 employees participated, with winners announced every day from December 1 to 24.
