HP announces partner relief initiatives HP Inc. has announced a variety of relief initiatives aimed at arming its global channel partner community to effectively navigate the operational and financial challenges associated with COVID-19. In addition to providing a variety of financing and leasing options for end customers, the company will offer short-term, market and country-specific incentives for channel partners.
In addition, HP has implemented a more predictable, flat-rate incentive program and relaxed compensation models to allow for more partner flexibility with linearity while extending deadlines for submission of proof of performance and reporting.
In partnership with its endorsed finance partners, HP’s Integrated Financial Solutions group is now offering a range of financial and asset lifecycle options, including deferred/reduced payments until 2021, short-term rentals and cash infusion for customer-owned HP devices through a sale leaseback program.
The company is also offering online, on-demand learning options across a variety of topics including sales skills education, product training and industry-leading certifications and has shifted all events throughout fiscal 2020 (ending October 31, 2020) to virtual engagement models to deliver a sustained drumbeat of curated news and information and networking opportunities, leveraging both internal and external voices. In addition, HP has shifted its customer engagement model to a robust, online platform across a broad set of topics including office printing, security, mobility solutions and HP services.
SentinelOne offers free platform access
Autonomous cybersecurity platform company SentinelOne has made its Core platform available free of charge until May 16, enabling enterprises to secure remote work.
The cloud-based platform seamlessly scales, making it well suited to protect both businesses and employees rapidly transitioning to a work from home environment, whether they are using corporate or personal devices. As part of this free offering, SentinelOne will provide: AI-powered prevention, detection, and automated response in a single, autonomous lightweight agent; legacy antivirus replacement across Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems with no connectivity or network dependency and deployment services; to include remote deployment assistance to ensure rapid installation and customised configuration.

PPE for the NHS
With PPE reported to be in short supply for the country’s NHS and care staff, Antalis has responded to a call or help from Middlesex-based Data Reprographics who is putting its design and production know-how to use in producing protective face masks.
With support from family, friends and the Data Reprographics team – and with materials donated by Antalis and others – Creative Designer and Prop Maker Faye McCallum, has been able to rapidly scale up production and in just a few days has produced almost 2,000 masks for donation to hospitals across north and west London.
Cloud-based labelling solution
NiceLabel is offering free subscriptions of its cloud-based labelling solution and technical consulting services. The company has launched the non-commercial and non-profit-based initiative in order to help organisations get much needed deliveries of medical equipment and supplies; respirators, disinfectants, masks or other critical supplies to those in need as quickly as possible.
Having the cloud-based labelling solution in place will enable firms to produce new labels quickly and rapidly add them to the packaging used on new product lines to ensure that equipment and materials arrive on the front line without delay.
