Sage 200 business partner, PKF Smith Cooper Systems – which is part of the national accountancy firm, PKF Smith Cooper – is celebrating a year of growth and unprecedented positive activity that has seen it increase its customer base by 20% and staff headcount by 50% in 2021.
The expansion was underpinned by three acquisitions, with the software company acquiring the Sage business of Price Bailey LLP, Cellular Solutions Ltd and Sci-Net Ltd within a four-month period.
Despite the ongoing fluid business climate in the UK due to Brexit and COVID-19, PKF Smith Cooper Systems continues to press forward with organic growth seeing business from both new and existing clients achieve double-digit growth. The company has also made a significant investment in a best-in-class cloud phone system, doubled the size of its Newcastle office, created a whole new client services function and completed a full re-branding exercise on the back of its parent company, PKF Smith Cooper, joining the PKF network of companies.
