EBM looks to achieve carbon neutrality in 2020

Witham-based EBM Managed Services  has set an ambitious target to achieve carbon neutrality in 2020.

The firm is taking a three-stage approach to tackling its emissions and has completed the
first stage offsetting its carbon emissions from 2018, investing in Quality Assurance Standard
approved offset projects that boost woodlands in the UK via

The next stage is to scrutinise waste and make changes that reduce its overall carbon
emissions going forward – from replacing end-of-life fleet vehicles with dual fuel alternatives to
sourcing eco-friendly cleaning products and office supplies. Finally, the firm is developing a system
whereby they can help clients print greener. Some clients already recycle print cartridges with
EBM, but the firm intends to extend this to every customer. It will also begin measuring the CO2
resulting from running print devices, and offsetting it on behalf of clients in a verified project of
the client’s choosing.
