EVO has recently acquired the trade and assets of Complete Business Solutions (CBS) through a pre-pack administration. The move is reported to have saved more than 600 jobs.
With over £100m sales in 2022, CBS is one of the UK’s largest providers of workplace supplies and associated services. The business is headquartered in Wakefield and operates through a further 18 regional distribution hubs across the UK. It has grown rapidly in recent years and was significantly challenged by the COVID period. Financial uncertainty from the pandemic period saw the firm appoint administrators from EY-Parthenon at the start of 2023.
