It’s been a busy month for the team, we had a last minute influx of entries to the 2021 PrintIT Awards and all of the information is now securely sealed and with our prestigious judging panel. I’m looking forward to judging day which is scheduled for September 9 and we’ll publish the shortlists for all categories shortly afterwards.

We are all also busy planning the long awaited 2020 Awards After Party which takes place at The Sway Club, London on September 2. Can’t wait to catch up with everyone in person!

Despite the madness of the past 18 or so months, it’s refreshing to hear that two businesses, Box (page 34) and SOS Systems (page 39), are both bucking the trend. Box is eyeing up growth in the B2B space and SOS Systems is planning future growth following a successful MBO.

Print has historically been lagging behind as customers migrate core IT infrastructure to the cloud, but the tide seems to be changing. This month, we asked a panel of industry specialists to consider whether the ability to offer cloud print services to address customers’ changing needs will be a key differentiator, and will a focus on this area help MPS providers recover from losses experienced during the pandemic (page 42).

In this issue, Kasia Holthouse, Strategic Partnerships Director at ECI Solutions picks the work tools she uses every day and couldn’t do her job without (page 18). This month’s Q&A
is with Andy Moffitt, CEO, CCS, and PITR spent 60 seconds with Chris Dance, CEO and Co-founder, PaperCut.
