Konica Minolta celebrates long-standing partnership with market-leading independent Print and Digital Solutions provider CCS

Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK) Ltd and leading independent UK Print and Digital Solutions provider Corona Corporate Solutions (CCS) are celebrating their outstanding channel growth and close long-standing relationship. Established in April 2007, CCS has been a Konica Minolta partner ever since, transforming from a determined start-up to become a channel dominating £52.7m turnover business, as well as the manufacturer’s largest indirect independent and Five-Star Accredited Partner. CCS offers its customers the entire Konica Minolta print and solutions portfolio, making it a key component in the manufacturer’s rapidly growing UK channel sales and market presence.

Mark Ash (Pictured), Chief Revenue Officer at Konica Minolta Business Solutions UK Limited commented, “Partnership is a word that is often misused and typically refers to a trading relationship. Having worked closely together with CCS since its inception fifteen years ago, Konica Minolta are proud to say that we have an extremely strong partnership together. It is far greater than CCS being class-leading in terms of sales of Konica Minolta product range but extends to having aligned strategies and peer to peer engagement at multiple levels between both businesses.”

Reflecting upon the partnership, Andy Moffitt, Service Director at CCS commented, “Our long-standing relationship is built upon mutual transparency, openness, trust and support from both sides. Konica Minolta consistently delivers the highest quality products and reliability, ensuring it remains a brand which our customers like and trust. This is paired with CCS’s expert sales and service support, which continuously delivers a winning proposition to our customers.”

CCS offers Konica Minolta’s range of office and Production Print solutions. Both companies share an intrinsically connected relationship, from the most senior level and throughout the sales, servicing, and operations teams. Andy added, “We are proudly independent, but the best vendors and products always dominate the lion’s share of our sales. Konica Minolta is a dominant force through its product excellence, complemented by our combined sales, support and technical operations. CCS engineers are trained and accredited by Konica Minolta, and we only supply OEM parts and consumables.”

Cameron Mitchell, Business Unit Leader (Partner Channel) at Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK) Ltd, also commented, “Whilst CCS is completely independent, we have an incredibly close peer-to-peer working relationship, having stood shoulder to shoulder throughout this remarkable growth. We also share the same belief that the channel must provide customers with tangible business outcomes, rather than just peddling the latest technology for the sake of it.”

With closely aligned customer support, CCS and Konica Minolta also work closely to meet customers’ ongoing needs. Andy elaborated, “The COVID-19 restrictions have created additional challenges, but we have worked closely to overcome these. For instance our Production Print customers naturally like to see new products up close, so we looking to utilise the powerful Konica Minolta Virtual Showroom to assist with this, whilst many routine servicing and diagnostic tasks are delivered remotely. Our close relationship perfectly supports online collaborative working, which benefits our customers directly.”

Andy is clear on the future of Konica Minolta and CCS’s fruitful partnership, “This close relationship has seen both companies weather a recession and the challenges of the current restrictions by being flexible, adaptable and successful through clearly understanding and catering for our customers evolving needs. We have a strong customer base in the SME and Education sectors, which continue to need expert print and technology support to deal with their own challenges. With this partnership we are confident in continuing to offer end users exactly the products, expert services and value they need – now and into the future.”
