Melanie Hudson has been named Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer at Lexmark. She will join the Lexmark executive team, reporting to President and CEO Allen Waugerman.
Hudson has been with Lexmark since 1994 and has extensive experience across the business and across the globe. In this leadership role, she will be responsible for Lexmark’s global commercial organisation, ensuring Lexmark is best positioned to meet the needs of customers and partners worldwide and creating effective go-to-market strategies.
Thomas Valjak will succeed Hudson as Lexmark Vice President and General Manager, EMEA. Valjak currently serves on the EMEA leadership team as Vice President of Sales for Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and prior to that he was Lexmark’s Vice President for Channel EMEA. He joined Lexmark in 2019 with more than 20 years of experience in the printing industry.
