London-based family run business, Matthews the Printers, has donated £4,000 to the Fields of Life charity to sponsor the construction of a well in postconflict East Africa.
The charity’s goal is to bring safe drinking water to over one million people by 2020 and Matthews will play a huge role in this. The funds donated by Matthews will be allocated towards the drilling of a borehole well in Uganda and will change the lives of those living in the vulnerable community.
Managing Director Christopher Riddell said: “We are delighted to be supporting Fields of Life and to be able to change many lives in this way. We look forward to seeing the well completed and seeing the positive results that we have been part of.”
