Midwich launches CSR programme

Midwich has launched a new CSR programme which covers four key areas and initiatives – people, environment, community and charity. The distie has pledged to give employees the opportunity to volunteer their time during working hours to take part in worthwhile community initiatives and will be supporting local worthwhile community projects, as voted for by employees.

Environmental pledges include eradicating the use of non-recyclable cups at head office by December this year; ensuring marketing material is 100% recyclable and reducing the number of printed literature distributed to stakeholders. The company is also committed to raising £40,000 to £50,000 for its chosen charity, Mind.
