Midwich has named mental health charity, Norwich & Central Norfolk Mind, as its chosen charity for the next two years.
Voted for by employees, Norwich & Central Norfolk Mind provides life-saving information when people need it most. They work to reduce the stigma associated with mental health, support people in their recovery and champion better services for all. Mind believe that with the right support and resources anyone can create a life that feels meaningful.
The 250+ staff located at head office in Diss, launched the new partnership by raising £258 for the charity. As well as a bake sale, staff members rode exercise bikes and rowing machines which included individual challenges throughout the day. The aim was to highlight the positive affect that physical exercise can have on a person’s mental health. Midwich staff raised £45,834.36 for their previous chosen charity, Nelson’s Journey, during 2017 and 2018.
