As we all know we are perhaps working through the most challenging and unpredictable period in all of our working lives. When the Print IT Awards 2020 were launched it would have been inconceivable that the event would not go ahead as planned. Nor could we have predicted that by the end of February the event would be almost sold out!
As a business and industry we are of course naturally optimistic, but optimism does need to come with a level of pragmatism and the safety of our customers, guests and staff must come first. That is why we wanted too let you know the PIA’s have now been moved to a new date, Thursday 11th February 2021.
We could have hung on and waited for government thinking to change and evolve as it surely will. Possibly we might have been able to still hold the event in its October format but we felt that to provaricate would be unfair on all of our guests and sponsors.
I hope this early decision and decisive action is welcome.
I would like to thank all of our Sponsors and table attendees who have stood shoulder to shoulder with us over the past months which reaffirms my belief that we are extremely lucky to work in the Print & Document Channel and that the Print IT Awards are needed more than ever.
With the judging having taken place the Award Entrants are now under lock and key and we will be sharing the short-listings with you by the end off August.
We cant wait to see you on the 11th February!
