The uptake of artificial intelligence by industry will drastically change the UK job market in the coming years, according to a new report from global recruiter Robert Walters and market analysis experts Vacancy Soft. One of the key findings was that businesses that are prepared to invest heavily in AI and data analytics are already outperforming their competitors – and so demand for talent in this area shows no signs of wavering (page 20.)

It’s been a busy month for exhibitions, conferences and partner events. In this issue we feature a review of The Print Show which took place in September at the NEC. Kyocera held its partner conference in Brighton last month, on page 34 Joe Doyle explains how Kyocera’s focus on strengthening relationships with channel partners has paid off, with revenue increasing by 8% over the past year.

PrintIT Reseller attended Konica Minolta’s European Leadership Campus 2019 which was held at the Lokomotivværkstedet in Copenhagen, Denmark and attended by 1,200 partners from more than 50 countries. Themed ‘Rethink Your Scope’ Konica Minolta invited partners to grasp the challenges and opportunities that digital transformation offers.

This month’s VOX POP is a two-parter, with some of the industry’s best-known names focusing on the business of sustainability (page 40).

Carlo Longhi, Director of Channels, Xerox, picks the work tools he uses every day and couldn’t do his job without (page 18). This month’s Q&A is with Dave Fleming, Sales Manager, Print Logic and PITR spent 60 seconds with Dave Weston, Head of Channel Sales UK & I, OKI.
