The biggest news to come out this month is the announcement that Xerox and Fujifim have entered into a defiitive agreement to combine Xerox and its longstanding Fuji Xerox joint venture. This comes just 18-months or so since news broke that another major player – Samsung was to exit the print market, selling to HP. The print market continues to consolidate, the number of OEMs and channel businesses continue to shrink. PITR asked a panel of industry stalwarts to share their thoughts on the market impact, the challenges and opportunities ahead (page 40).
