PFU (EMEA) is celebrating 20 years of the ScanSnap brand and reaching the six million devices shipped milestone.
The first model, the ScanSnap fi-411EOX was initially sold in July 2001, since then over 20 different devices have been developed, evolving from the ScanSnap SV600 overhead scanner, providing contactless image capture for books, magazines, and artwork, to the ScanSnap iX1600.
To celebrate the last two decades, ScanSnap has created a limited edition ScanSnap iX1600, with only 22 available in the world. The limited edition model is made with the historic foil processing of Kanazawa leaf, a traditional Japanese craft developed over 450 years ago in the city of Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture, where the brand was founded. Partners will have the opportunity to win a model by registering their sales on the imaging rewards programme or by submitting their best case study on the PFU EMEA partner portal.
