Softcat has announced a strategic collaboration agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS). The new multi-year agreement will see Softcat create dedicated local AWS sales and technical teams and reinforce its existing AWS offerings with a comprehensive range of professional and managed services and multi-vendor solutions.
The agreement underpins Softcat’s broader plan to invest in expert resources to provide smooth, agile automation and integration that ensures outstanding customer experience.
James Baker, Softcat’s Alliances and Marketing Director, said: “This collaboration with AWS enables Softcat to further develop and accelerate both our sales and technical capabilities – providing greater expertise to meet the growing demands of our customers. We are really excited about developing our relationship with AWS.”
In other news, the company has been named the first Trend Micro Platinum partner for the UK and Ireland. The company’s elevation to Platinum partner status comes after a stellar 2020 in which it recorded triple-digit recorded revenue growth year-on-year. Softcat has been one of Trend Micro’s largest partners for a number of years, now as a Platinum partner, it will be able to access a number of additional commercial and technical benefits.
