Technical services key area for channel investment

Tech Data has highlighted technical account management services as one of the key areas in which resellers would welcome added assistance and resources from their trusted distributor partner, highlighting the importance of its ongoing investment in the area.

”Nine out of ten customers surveyed as part of the Tech Data Advance feedback process identified the availability of aligned technical account management as having specific value, underlining the need for the continued investment Tech Data is making in delivering professional services capability,” said Advanced Solutions Technical Services Director, Andy Brown.

“The customer survey revealed that there is a growing need amongst resellers for high quality technical services at both the pre-sales and postsales stages,” he added. Resellers see the top three areas of growth potential as being cloud, security and the data centre – all of which Tech Data is investing in strongly to drive partner knowledge, enablement and growth.
