Global exporter, Trade Copiers, has been recognised as one of the UK’s leading businesses after being awarded the Queen’s Award for Enterprise
The highest official awards for British business, the Queen’s Award for Enterprise is open to those organisations who excel at international trade, innovation, sustainable development or promoting opportunity.
Due to the ongoing global situation, the company was in lock down when the announcement was made on Her Majesty the Queen’s birthday, the 21st of April. Now the business has returned to operational status, they are delighted to finally be able to share this fantastic news with the world.
The Penrith based company runs an export operation that gives copier machines and other MFD’s years of extra life in international markets rather than being scrapped in the UK creating more e-waste. The company was recognised for its ability to attract customers from varied global markets, over performing year-on-year on an already challenging financial plan and making significant investment in the training, development and retention of staff.
Stephen Armistead, Founder and CEO of Trade Copiers said: “We’ve been fortunate enough to receive awards for our business in the past but taking home the Queen’s Award for Enterprise cements our position as the leading exporter of quality machines within the UK.” He went on to add: “It’s been a very tough few months for businesses across the world. We have undertaken an internal restructure our business to secure our position in the future and put us in a strong position to build on this latest success.”
Offering a reliable and smooth customer experience, whether that be from the global export side of the business or the UK consumables division, Trade Copiers is known throughout the industry as a company to be trusted which is why it can boast clients from all over the globe who’ve worked with them consistently for over 15 years. The foundation of that customer experience is an incredibly talented and experienced export team who help guide customers, new and old, through the process.
Stephen added: “Reliability really is key to our operation and it’s that trust in our level of service that keeps our customers returning year after year, we certainly wouldn’t be able to maintain our strong relationships with major UK and European copier manufacturers without our commitment to a reliable and timely service.”
To ensure the excellent service levels continue, Trade Copiers has recently invested heavily into the infrastructure, increasing the fleet capacity, warehouse space and bringing onboard a highly skilled management team to steer the veteran staff to new levels of personal success while creating growth company wide.
