Dynabook has added two new devices to its Tecra range. The new 14” Tecra A40-J and the 15” Tecra A50-J notebooks, have been designed to address all the needs of the modern, flexible worker while reducing the strain on IT managers.
Both the Tecra A40-J and A50-J have been developed to balance portability and performance with a distinct, premium design. In addition to high powered 28W variants of the latest 11th Gen Intel Core processors, a selection of memory and storage capabilities are available, including up to 32GB of RAM on 2x SO-DIMM DDR4 3200 and up to 1TB of SSD OPAL 2.0 storage. The duo also deliver on battery life – up to 10.4 hours and a quick charge function provides 40% battery in just 30 minutes.
Each device has been carefully engineered to address the security and manageability challenges posed by the accelerated shift towards flexible working patterns. Thanks to Dynabook’s in-house BIOS with extensive security features, Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0, enterprise-grade encryption and optional Windows Hello fingerprint and face authentication, both devices protect users against data, device and identify threats, in addition to meeting Microsoft’s secured- core PC requirements.
Sharp/NEC’s new ME series of business projectors are compact, yet powerful tools with integrated 16W speakers, HDMI compatibility, and future-proof 4K@30 Hz input processing. They have exceptional lamp life, with up to 20,000 hours of trouble-free projection, and remove the effort and cost associated with lamp replacement.
The NEC ME403U and NEC ME383W allow a wide range of application scenarios thanks to multi-source conferencing, efficient split-screen operation, and wireless capabilities. Multiple users can seamlessly connect and share content without having to switch cables. Likewise, large optical zooms on both the models make them easy to position in a room or utilised on an existing celling mount.
Customer experience platform
Unified communications and compliance solutions provider TelcoSwitch has announced the latest addition to its product portfolio: 3Sixty.
3Sixty is a software-as-a-service communications platform, enabling organisations to deliver excellent inbound customer experiences by centralising communications channels including voice, email, and social media, alongside customer service, e-commerce, marketing and pipeline management. It delivers a host of integrations out-of-the-box, including e-commerce solutions Shopify, Magento and WooCommerce, accounting packages like Xero, marketing platforms such as MailChimp, and cloud office services that include Office 365, Microsoft Dynamics, and Salesforce.
The solution enables organisations to communicate with their customers across a variety of channels, such as WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, live web chat (including chatbots), email, SMS, and traditional voice calls.
Business intelligence dashboards
ECI has announced a new toolset for its Horizon ERP software. Horizon sales teams can now access Cognytics Business Intelligence (BI) dashboards, designed to harness data, support decision-making and increase revenue.
The standard sales dashboard is designed with sales reps in mind, and the information displayed can giveba salesperson a detailed and instant overview of how they are performing and what revenue, buying trends and sales history their accounts are generating.
For sales managers, the sales executive dashboard offers an overview of the sales team figures, individual performance and gives a wider look at the business. Using the executive dashboard it’s easy to switch between these views and access to the specific information needed.

International POS printer manufacturer Star Micronics has introduced the TSP143IIU+ USB receipt printer. Replacing the TSP143II ECO printer, this latest model in the TSP100 series features a higher print speed than its predecessor and benefits from a range of paper saving features and marketing tools, thanks to free-of- charge Star futurePRNT software.
Designed for traditional fixed POS across retail and hospitality, the TSP143IIU+ with USB interface is ideal for a range of applications including receipting and kitchen orders. With both horizontal and vertical text reduction, users can benefit from reduced paper consumption, whilst flat receipts are assured with no paper curl. WatchGuard cloud management
MSPs can now manage all their WatchGuard security solutions, including next-generation anti-virus, AI-enabled endpoint detection and response, network security and authentication services, through a single, unified platform, after the company integrated the WatchGuard Endpoint Security product family (previously known as Panda Adaptive Defense 360, Adaptive Defense, Endpoint Protection Plus and Endpoint Protection) into WatchGuard Cloud.
Supporting a variety of procurement models, WatchGuard’s cloud platform simplifies everything from initial deployment and set-up to licence management, renewals and reporting. WatchGuard partners have been using it to manage Firebox security environments and AuthPoint MFA deployments since 2019 and ThreatSync threat intelligence since 2020.
