XMA has announced the successful appointment of PRD Technologies Ltd, software provider of the award winning ‘Intelligent Billing’ platform, as their new VAR billing platform provider.
As requested by the multi-billion-pound IT distributor, Westcoast Cloud, PRD developed a sophisticated VAR billing platform for Westcoast Cloud’s VAR network. PRD had already successfully implemented a bespoke version of their ‘Intelligent Billing’ platform for Westcoast Cloud, simplifying their billing process and enabling them to rapidly scale up their own billing from £18m to over £80m per annum.

XMA, one of the UK’s top ten largest VARs, was recommended to trial the new VAR billing platform last year by Westcoast Cloud. After a swift and successful implementation XMA increased their monthly billing through the new platform from £100k to over £200k per month within a 3-month period. PRD has now been contracted as XMA’s ongoing billing platform provider.

Due to continued growth plans in the CSP space XMA needed to invest in a system capable of the highly complex and accurate billing required by their ambitious Cloud Solution Provider Program, which enables customers to purchase online cloud service subscriptions, Azure services and related software.
