Three New 802.11ax Access Points Offer Performance and Management Flexibility Making Them Ideal Solutions for Upgrading Existing Infrastructures in High-Density Environments
Zyxel Networks, a leader in delivering secure, AI- and cloud-powered home and business solutions, today announced the expansion of its portfolio of wired and wireless networking solutions for small and medium-sized businesses with the addition of three business-class 802.11ax (WiFi 6) access points. Providing up to six times the throughput as 11ac access points in high-density environments, Zyxel’s new access points provide consistent connections, low latency and less jitter to maximize network performance for existing client devices.
Zyxel’s next-generation WiFi 6 access points incorporate Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiple Access (ODFMA) and Basic Service Set (BSS) coloring technologies which allow multiple access points to be used in the same vicinity without fear of co-channel interference. All Zyxel 802.11ax access points integrate 4G/5G interference filters enable coexistence with cellular networks by minimising interference from 4G/5G antennas and signal boosters. Combined with MU-MIMO antenna technology, these features enable the new PoE-enabled Zyxel access points to provide unparalleled performance and reliability in high-density environments such as offices, schools and colleges, hotels and restaurants.
The Zyxel WAX650S 802.11ax (WiFi 6) Dual-Radio Unified Pro Access Point is a dual-radio (dual 4×4 MIMO) access point that provides maximum data rate of 3550 Mbps (2400 Mbps in 5 GHz and 1150 Mbps in 2.4 GHz) and incorporates Zyxel smart antenna technology to mitigate co-channel interference and boost WiFi 6 performance. To optimise the wireless experience, WAX650S features Dynamic Channel Selection, Zero Wait DFS, Load Balancing, Smart Client Steering, and a third radio that is dedicated to scanning and monitoring the wireless network.
The WAX510D 802.11ax (WiFi 6) Dual-Radio Unified Pro Access Point is a dual-radio (dual 2×2 MIMO) access point that provides maximum data rate of 1775 Mbps (1200 Mbps in 5 GHz and 575 Mbps in 2.4 GHz). WAX510D utilises a dual-optimised antenna with wall- and ceiling-mounting modes to allow the selection of optimum radio patterns to maximise coverage while reducing the risk of creating interference.
Both WAX650S and WAX510D access points are easily managed using NebulaFlex Pro which gives users the flexibility of switching among standalone, controller-managed and cloud-managed modes. Both access points come bundled with a one-year Nebula Professional Pack license that eliminates immediate licensing costs when migrating to full-featured cloud management.
The NWA110AX 802.11ax (WiFi 6) Dual-Radio PoE Access Point is a dual radio (dual 2×2 MIMO) that provides maximum data rate of 1775 Mbps (1200 Mbps in 5 GHz and 575 Mbps in 2.4 GHz). The NWA110AX can be easily managed with NebulaFlex which gives users to option of managing the access point in standalone mode or with Zyxel’s intuitive cloud-managed NCC (Nebula Control Center).
“For organisations that need to provide WiFi connectivity in high-density environments, WiFi 6 introduces technologies like OFDMA and enhanced MU-MIMO capabilities that greatly expand the capability of the network to allow an increased number users and devices to be connected to the WiFi without any degradation in performance or response time,” explained Shawn Rogers, Market Development Manager at Zyxel. “Our new family of 802.11ax products provides businesses of all sizes with high-performance solutions that are easy to deploy and manage. The flexibility in device management options makes the APs ideal for migrating existing networks to WiFi 6 as well as new infrastructure deployments.”
Zyxel 802.11ax (WiFi 6) access points carry a lifetime limited warranty and are available now through all Zyxel authorised resellers and e-Commerce partners. For more information about Zyxel and its connectivity solutions, visitwww.zyxel.com/us and follow us on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
